1. Your agreement with Yebalabs
By downloading or using Pregotimer, you agree to these Terms and the Pregotimer Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
“Yebalabs,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the publisher of Pregotimer in Kigali, Rwanda. “You” means the person using the app. The terms of the app store you downloaded Pregotimer from also apply.
2. What Pregotimer provides
Pregotimer helps you follow a daily pregnancy routine. It builds a schedule from your stage of pregnancy, the conditions you select and your wake time, reminds you of each item, lets you record what you have done, and lets you add reminders from your doctor, including from a scanned prescription.
The schedule is general guidance based on common pregnancy care. It is not tailored by a health professional to you.
3. Not medical advice
Pregotimer is an organiser, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. It does not replace advice from your doctor, midwife or pharmacist.
- Follow your care team. Always follow the instructions of the health professionals caring for you. If anything in the app differs from what they told you, follow them and change or remove the item in the app.
- Medicines. Take medicines only as prescribed. Do not start, stop or change a medicine or dose because of something shown in the app.
- Emergencies. Pregotimer cannot detect or respond to an emergency. If you have bleeding, severe pain, reduced baby movements, a severe headache, vision changes or any other concern, contact your care team or emergency services straight away.
4. Reminders
Reminders depend on your phone. They may be late, silent or not appear if notifications or alarms are not allowed, if battery saving, focus or do-not-disturb settings block them, if the phone is off, or if the app has been removed. On iOS, a medicine course may keep reminding you after its end date until you next open the app.
Do not rely on Pregotimer as your only way to remember an important medicine, test or appointment.
5. Prescription scanning
Text recognition can misread handwriting, print, doses, times or durations. Pregotimer shows what it found so you can correct it, and asks you to confirm each medicine matches your prescription before saving. You are responsible for checking every medicine, dose, time and duration against your prescription. If you are unsure, ask your pharmacist or doctor.
6. Your data and devices
Pregotimer has no accounts or cloud backup. Your schedule, records and reminders exist only on your phone and can be lost if the phone is lost, reset or replaced, or if you delete the app. Yebalabs cannot recover them. Keep your phone locked and protected, because anyone who can open it may see your information.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Pregotimer for unlawful purposes, or copy, modify, resell, decompile or reverse engineer it, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
8. Ownership
Pregotimer, including its software, design, schedules, text, illustrations and marks, belongs to Yebalabs or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the app on devices you own or control. Information you enter remains yours.
The text recognition built into Apple and Google software remains subject to their own terms.
9. Changes and availability
We may update, change or stop offering Pregotimer, or any feature of it, and may update these Terms. The current version and effective date will be published here. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give reasonable additional notice where practical. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Warranties and responsibility
We build Pregotimer with reasonable care and skill. Except for rights and guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, the app is provided as available, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its schedule, reminders or text recognition will always be accurate.
To the extent permitted by Rwanda law, Yebalabs is responsible only for loss that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to exercise required care. We are not responsible for decisions about your health or medicines made without your care team, for missed or delayed reminders caused by your device or its settings, for unchecked results of a prescription scan, or for events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to the competent courts of Rwanda, without preventing either party from using another remedy or authority available under applicable law.
If one part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right.
